Rodney has exhibited in 47 solo and group shows in both England and California.

"When I moved to the UK in the summer of 2002, I returned to the land of my ancestors, having always felt more at home in Wales and the Midlands than in the United States. My early training more than forty years ago was in abstract art at both the Chenard Art Institute in Los Angeles, then the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. During the past two decades I painted mostly landscapes attempting to establish a mood. I now find myself returning to abstract pieces, working in a number of methods with oils and enamel on paper, canvas and wood attempting to evoke emotion from the viewer.
