For decades I have made box-collages; some people feel they are claustrophobic, others (including me) feel they are more like windows. They are usually constructed from wooden frames with layers of glass with found objects and collaged images. Recently I've been making installation pieces and I've taken to the warmth of my design studio to make video and digital artworks, although nothing can beat the smell of car spray and burning wood.
