I had a rural upbringing on farms in Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire and have lived here in Herefordshire for the last 22 years. I studied Art in Buckinghamshire, specializing in Graphics. I am a graphic designer by profession (one has to pay the bills!) but I still find time for the occasional piscatorial painting, as trout fishing is my passion. Life drawing is an essential part of developing a keen eye for form, structure, muscle and bone structure. The honesty and truth of the human form is a demanding challenge for the artist. I frequently undertake both life and portrait commissions.
